Unveiling of sculpture
by U.S. Army Major General Barrye L. Price.
Internationally acclaimed American sculptor and veteran Peter Rubino created a
symbolic sculpture to honor Americas Fallen Heroes in association with the
Connecticut Fallen Heroes Foundation. The 2 and one-half-foot bronze sculpture
was unveiled by U.S. Major General Barrye L. Price at Indian Ledge Park in
Trumbull CT. during the eight annual Connecticut Fallen Heroes Memorial Tribute.
U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman and congressman Jim Himes
were among the dignitaries and speakers paying tribute to Gold Star families
- those whose loved ones gave their lives defending our country.
"Remembrance" has occupied a place of state in the rotunda at the Connecticut
Capital. The original sculpture is on display at the History Museum of Catawba
County in Newton, NC. and a limited edition was permanently installed at the
Waxhaw Military Wall Of Honor, Waxhaw, NC.
Limited editions of "Remembrance" are available for purchase.
